About the Parks Master Plan
The City of Bonita Springs invites all residents to help shape the future of the city’s parks, trails, and recreation spaces through the development of a new Parks Master Plan.
Led in partnership with national consulting firm BerryDunn, this plan will serve as a roadmap for the next 10–15 years, guiding investments in parks, recreation facilities, programs, and services to meet the evolving needs of the community.
Your input is absolutely essential to the success of this plan. The City is offering multiple ways for residents to participate and provide feedback:
- Online Engagement (You are here!) – Share your comments on the ideas wall and provide feedback using an interactive map.
- Community Events – Connect with city staff and project team members at local events such as the upcoming July 4th celebration and other pop-up engagements.
- Focus Groups and Public Meetings – Attend future discussions and community meetings to speak directly with the planning team (more information coming soon!).
- Survey – A randomly sampling of households will receive a mailed survey. Surveys will also be available via the project website.
- Comment Cards – Stop by the recreation center to complete a comment card and share your feedback!

The park by riverside park is dated, gross, full of homeless people. The bathrooms look like prison cell bathrooms. We can do better.

Depot Park very much needs a remodel. New playground equipment and potentially a playground expansion. It would help revitalize downtown!
