The City of Capitola City Council has completed its initial review and editing of the draft for the city’s long-term strategic plan, marking a significant milestone in the planning process. The plan, which outlines key goals and initiatives for the city’s growth and development over the next five years, was presented to the public on February 4, 2025, for feedback.

As part of the review process, the city will incorporate valuable input from residents through a community survey on the Social Pinpoint site. The survey is open now for all city residents, business owners, and community members to gather feedback on the mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities for the city’s future. This feedback will be instrumental in refining the strategic plan to better reflect the needs and concerns of the community.
