The City of Maple Valley is inviting community members to help shape the future of the city's parks, trails, and recreation spaces through two major planning efforts: the Parks, Recreation, and Open Space Plan and the Lake Wilderness Park Master Plan. These long-term plans will guide improvements, investments, and programming for parks and recreation facilities in Maple Valley, ensuring they continue to meet the evolving needs of residents.
As you provide your feedback, we invite you to consider the Parks Department’s mission statement:
We enhance the quality of life and build community by providing safe, welcoming parks and recreation opportunities for people to gather and engage in that promote health, well-being, and community. We are good stewards of the environment and resources entrusted to our care, endeavor to foster creative partnerships, and are responsive to the evolving needs of our community.
We invite you to share your ideas with us by clicking on one or both of the project website links below. There, you will be able to provide your feedback and learn more about the project’s progress. Thank you in advance for sharing your voice!
