Teen center! 100%. These kids need a safe place to hang that IS NOT the McDonald’s Parking lot or Safeway.

I agree with trimming hedges at crosswalks in the area. It’s dangerous if pedestrians cannot be seen.

Create a youth center for teens to hang out and do organized activities, open activities and have teen volunteer opportunities posted.

Have giant gnomes throughout the city…much like the trolls throughout the PNW.

Remove tall bushes by the crosswalk to Take a Break Park. You can’t see people, kids especially, when they are crossing. They are hidden.

Change the name of Take a Break Park to Wax Road Park.

Add mile markers to all of the walking paths.

Make kids recreation programs INSANELY affordable for MV residents. Offer huge multi-child discounts that ease the burden on families.

HANDS DOWN increase/improve the directional signage on the gnome trail. Just did it with 4 young kids and I felt lost the entire time.

Use the existing building at LW Park to host crafts for kids everyday during the summer. City of Renton had this for years at Philip Arnold.

Open your restrooms at LW Park sooner than the fishing derby. The park is used long before the fishing derby, and people are…well, humans :)
