Strategic Planning

Organizations develop strategic plans for many reasons, including to enhance organizational performance, reduce operating costs, realign operations, or communicate with stakeholders. Strategic plans convey an organization’s strategic foundation (i.e., its vision, mission, values, leadership message, and diversity, equity, and inclusion commitment) and strategy (i.e., its goals, objectives, strategies, action plans, and performance measurements).

BerryDunn, a consulting firm with extensive experience in strategic planning was hired to assist in this process. BerryDunn will engaged AEMA’s stakeholders to maximize creativity and innovation and inspire collaboration and consensus while developing a strategic plan that AEMA can reasonably implement and operationalize with staff support and commitment.
