Market Analysis
To ground the plan in current context, we will gather and analyze recent City plans and studies, demographic forecasts, local and regional economic development reports, tax base information, and other data sources. We will evaluate trends in socioeconomic status, business and entrepreneurship, occupations and workforce, and industry sectors.

Stakeholder Engagement
In collaboration with City staff, we will develop an Engagement Strategy, outlining timelines, stakeholder groups, outreach methods, and objectives for qualitative data collection. We will then facilitate both in-person and virtual community engagement to identify the needs and goals for key sectors in the community.

Economic Development Strategy Formation
Alongside the City’s project management team, we will begin developing a formal vision describing the desired state of the City’s economic future. Supporting goals will be finalized through a collaborative process, reflecting the vision in a series of realistic intentions.

Economic Development Action Plan Formulation
Ultimately, we will develop an Economic Development Action Plan designed to accomplish the goals expressed by key stakeholders throughout the planning process. Additionally, we will develop and refine performance metrics and implementation strategies to help gauge success over time.
