The City of Gaithersburg has initiated a Multigenerational Recreational Facility Feasibility Study to assess the need for a new facility that meets the diverse requirements of its community. This feasibility study will evaluate existing recreational programs, identify gaps, and recommend improvements, including potential upgrades to current facilities, the addition of new program spaces, and enhancements to overall operations.
Your feedback will help shape a strategic road map for future development over the next decade.
We have many opportunities to build and improve our future. Take a moment and provide your feedback through a variety of interactive engagement features by:
- Taking a quick poll
- Adding your thoughts to the ideas board
- Sharing your indoor space needs

We look forward to hearing from you!

Categorize your seniors as assets to the community and treat them as such. I don’t think that’s how they are treated presently.

We need a standalone senior center to be added to Bohrer Park facilities. Those who want to work with children can go to a youth center.

Additional senior class space. Bone Builders got kicked out of Bohrer for the summer. Casey Barn is small, hot and we had to change dates.

The community could benefit from recreational space for the children, regardless of parent's ability to pay. The kids need an outlet!

A major part of the appeal that Gaithersburg has is its open spaces and suburban neighborhoods. We don’t want to be a big city.

I am not in favor of a multigenerational facility. The seniors deserve a dedicated space.
