Salt Lake City has partnered with BerryDunn to develop a Strategic Capital, Acquisition, and Asset Management Plan (SCAAMP) for Public Lands. This initiative aims to enhance public land services in a growing city, align with strategic goals and funding frameworks, and create a dynamic, adaptable plan to guide property acquisition, assessment management, development, and capital projects over the next 5–10 years.

The master plan was completed two years ago and gave us broad goals to achieve as a department. Now, we’re trying to create a road map for accomplishing these goals and nail down what specific projects to prioritize as a department, and when.

We want your feedback! Please explore our project website to rank your priorities, share feedback in the forums, leave location-specific comments on the interactive map, and respond to the survey.

  • What are your priorities for improvements?
  • What are major issues you find in these parks?
  • What isn’t working currently?
