December 8, 2025: Thank you for your interest in the Kettering Playbook, the City’s master plan for parks, recreation, and cultural arts. Community engagement for the Playbook ran from August through December 1, with opportunities to participate both online and through numerous in-person activities this fall. The statistically valid survey, also open to the public, was available from November 8 to December 8 and closed after reaching the response threshold needed for statistical accuracy.

We are now analyzing over one thousand suggestions, surveys, and comment cards. This input, combined with external assessments of facilities, parks, programs, operations, access, and service levels, will guide future investments and improvements across Kettering. The project will move from the analysis phase to the visioning phase in February. A draft plan is expected in the spring, with a final plan anticipated by the end of June.
